Ordering Process

Please contact us as soon as possible
We will let you know soon if we are available.
Don't forget to include important details, such as your wedding date, venue and how many guests you are expecting. For example, also send along pictures of cakes and inspiration that suits you. This will give me a good idea of what you have in mind. All Cakeworks cakes are unique, but your input is very important.
If your date is still available, we will make an appointment for a short introductory meeting (video call). After that you will receive an offer including a price indication.
Are we a match? Would you like to reserve the date? You can, for this we ask for a deposit of 100 euros which we settle with the final invoice (non-refundable). We will then definitively schedule you in our calendar.

At Cakeworks' studio, you can come and taste by appointment
We think it is very important that you can taste for yourself and thus determine the taste of your cake.
With high-quality ingredients and refined techniques, we ensure that our wedding cakes are not only pleasing to the eye, but also taste delicious.
A deluxe tasting for 2 with a choice of three real pieces of cake as they are served at the wedding is always included and free of charge.

We love taking the time to get to know you and brainstorm together on inspiration, color palettes and themes. We translate these details into an exclusive design that will seamlessly fit your special day. All your wishes are addressed and I sketch your dream cake right away.
Quote and invoice
Based on the conversation, I make a comprehensive quotation
If you agree with the offer I will send you a confirmation of the assignment and an invoice for a down payment of € 200,00 (if you have reserved a date) or € 300,00 if the date is not fixed yet. I will also send you the general terms and conditions.
At this time, the order for your cake is finalized in my calendar. For the remaining amount, an invoice will be sent 4 weeks before the wedding. This must be in my account at least two weeks before your wedding. Small changes can be made up to 4 weeks before the wedding.

We deliver the cake at the agreed time and day and make sure the cake is placed in the right place. We contact the location in good time and also, for example, a florist who supplies flowers for the cake. Everything exactly as discussed.
